TR-60SN / 09D

TR-60SN - 6-speed gearbox from Aisin introduced to the market in 2003. Designed for Porsche Cayenne RWD 4.0L. At the same time, the  TF-60SN gearbox was released, dedicated to FWD cars and tested on the Toyota Altezza 2.0L. 09D was released with the intention of being a leader in the world of luxury cars from Porsche, Audi and Lexus and being a competitor to the 6-speed ZF 6HPxx gearbox. Used by Audi in Q7 SUVs with engines from 3.0L to 4.2L, since 2007. in Lexus and Land Cruiser SUVs (over 4.6L) with rear drive and AWD. Over time, several modifications with different torque were created, differing in planetary gears, the number of friction and steel discs and the size of some components and parts. Its successor is the  TR-80SD. Aisin designed this box to be as durable as possible - like its other RWD boxes. Despite everything, car manufacturers tried to adapt their TCM to enable drivers to make the most of its capabilities.
